The 2018 JCC Maccabi Games in Orange County, Calif., have come and gone – and now Atlanta is officially on the clock!

Throughout an action-packed week in Southern California, Team Atlanta showcased its city and the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta through athleticism and Rachmanus (compassion) — and with a special “We Got Next” banner in the parade of delegations during the Opening Ceremonies. All in all, Team Atlanta was awarded medals in boys’ and girls’ basketball, dance and baseball.

During the Closing Ceremonies and festivities, the Long Beach and Orange County delegations officially passed the JCC Maccabi Games torch to Atlanta and Detroit – the pair of hosts for the 2019 Games. Atlanta Games Director Stacie Francombe and Atlanta Assistant Games Director Carissa Mindt.

From the 2019 Maccabi Games in Atlanta, a special heartfelt thank you goes out to all the athletes, coaches, spectators and all members of Team Atlanta for the magical week.

Team Atlanta: WE GOT NEXT!
