The 2019 JCC Maccabi Games® are officially en route to Atlanta!

Sunday’s Ignite Maccabi event kicked off the year-long run up to the MJCAA’s  hosting of the Games for the first time in 18 years. The 2019 Games will see thousands of Jewish athletes, hundreds of coaches and several thousand spectators visit Atlanta for the week-long competition, and Ignite Maccabi raised the curtain on the event with nearly 1,000 guests – both members and non-members of the MJCCA – on Aug. 26, 2018.

Check out some of the best shots from Sunday  – from the various interactive experiences with the Atlanta Hawks, Falcons and Braves to inflatable games; food trucks and video games; and the Parade of Maccabi Alumni led by the Atlanta Braves drumline, the Heavy Hitters all the way to the main stage where MJCCA CEO Jared Powers lit the JCC Maccabi Games® torch with co-chairs Amy Rubin and Libby Hertz.
